about

Written/recorded summer 1990 (I think) using tape-to-tape dubbing on a dual cassette deck (as were all my demos until the summer of 1991 when I got a four-track). This track was not on the original release of this album.

To Be Maybe was destined for some overdubbing for the "The Cheese Stands Alone" album, but it never happened, so here it is in its demo glory. Noise Reduction applied 2022.

There is a band version recorded live for my music composition class with drums and woodwinds that may see the light of day if I ever finish that MayTricks rarities album. It's not actually better than this, though.
