This was our second album, recorded in summer 1993 in an Ann Arbor basement just after most of us graduated from U. of Michigan. However, many of these songs were in our live set first and longest, with some even written in our high school days. These were the songs that made us feel like running around naked and screaming on stage.

Guitars, bass, and drums were all recorded together (with effects running) to two tracks of a 4-track cassette recorder to avoid the necessity of bouncing between tracks... the thing that makes most 4-track recordings sound terrible. Likewise, we would record backing vocals as a group. Only the solos and lead vocals were added individually.
